I am a political science Ph.D. candidate at Texas A&M University and a Graduate Fellow with the Hagler Institute for Advanced Study at Texas A&M University. I study political economy with a focus on how domestic political elites respond to the distributional consequences of free trade. My research contributes to our understanding of how international trade affects domestic politics, why compensation has failed to mitigate these effects, and the potential limits of democracy.
